Managing RAM in Unicove

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to manage your account's RAM within the interface.
RAM is perhaps the most critical resource utilized by the network. It represents the physical RAM that is storing the blockchain’s data in nodes around the world. Users can buy RAM from the network’s RAM markets with EOS and resell it if unused. In some scenarios a user can delete the data written to the RAM to retrieve it, but often this is not the case.
✅ What You'll Need Before Getting Started
Before you get started, you will need to do the following:
First head to the Unicove website at . Once there, login to the portal by selecting the "Login" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You'll then be prompted to launch Anchor and sign the transactions by following the on screen prompts.
Once logged into the Unicove portal, there will be a menu on the left hand side of the page. Select the option to show "Advanced" features and navigate to the "Resources" page.
Once you're on the Resources page, select the "Buy" button under RAM. On the next screen, you can enter the amount of RAM you'd like to purchase, then select "Buy" and follow the onscreen prompts to sign the transaction.
If you'd like to sell your RAM you can reverse the process by navigating to the same Resources page in Unicove and selecting the Sell option under RAM. Then enter the ammount of RAM you'd like to sell and follow the on screen prompts to complete the transaction.
