Managing CPU in Unicove

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to manage your account's CPU within the interface.
Before executing a transaction, a user’s account must stake EOS to reserve a certain portion of the network’s processing power. This processing power is represented by CPU. Unlike , the user isn’t purchasing the resource, they are just reserving enough capacity. Because of this, after 24 hours CPU is replenished and a user can unstake their EOS when it is no longer needed.
✅ What You'll Need Before Getting Started
Before you get started, you will need to do the following:
First head to the Unicove website at . Once there, login to the portal by selecting the "Login" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You'll then be prompted to launch Anchor and sign the transactions by following the on screen prompts.
Once logged into the Unicove portal, there will be a menu on the left hand side of the page. Select the option to show "Advanced" features and navigate to the "Resources" page.
From the resources page, select the "Rent" option. The next page will present you with three options to either Rent CPU temporarily or Stake EOS tokens to reserve CPU. Once you've made a selection, enter the amount of CPU you would like to acquire and follow the on screen prompts to launch Anchor and sign the transaction.
