RAMS DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization dedicated to managing and optimizing the utilization of EOS's RAM resources. By leasing RAM to third-party projects, RAMS DAO enhances resource efficiency and generates income for its community members. RAMS DAO was incubated by EOS Labs.

## **Key Components**

* **RAMS Token**: Serving as the governance token for RAMS DAO, holders can stake RAMS tokens to obtain voting rights, participate in community governance, and receive rewards. The maximum circulation is 670 million tokens, following the destruction of 330 million from the initial 1 billion issuance.
* **RAM Leasing Market**: RAMS DAO has established a RAM leasing market on the EOS blockchain, allowing RAM owners to deposit their resources and earn rewards in cryptocurrencies like BTC and EOS. This initiative aims to improve RAM utilization and support the development of decentralized applications (dApps) within the EOS ecosystem.
